Default Inscribable Req. 9 Jitte [Blunt Damage Sword]

Only drops inscribable in HoH (normally drops in factions). Because they don't drop with inscriptions, they are hardly ever used in GvG.

They are incredibly rare. Gold Crystalline rare.

In GvG, skilled monks (and other backliners) will use a +10 armor vs slashing shield against anyone they see is using a sword. This gives you an advantage over every other frontliner. You don't deal slashing damage, you deal blunt.

Sold in-game. 90k+60e

Tommy (r5 champion monk from iQ) attests to the value of blunt damage on a sword:

Monks fear the jitte. +10 armor vs Slashing on a monk means 1/6 less damage PER HIT (for any other sword). Not worrying about that armor bonus means that you're doing ~15 more damage per hit than anyone else.
